For over twenty-five years, Ben been immersed in two areas of expertise: media and advocacy for organizations working in the public’s interests. His media work spans the management of two digital media companies, feature films and visual effects production, and media campaigns. Some highlights include: VP of Operations at re:Sources, a premiere producer of pre-visualization and visual effects on projects such as “Armageddon,” “Contact,” and “What Dreams May Come;” Director of Business Development at Wisdom Media; and Digital Strategist and Producer for Next Agenda on such projects as Soros’s Institute of New Economic Thinking and Sogeti’s Team Park and Leadership 2010 Conference. He is proud to have been the first Executive Director of Challenge Day, the nationally acclaimed youth violence prevention program that has been showcased numerous times on the Oprah Winfrey Show and soon to be on MTV. Ben has an MA in organizational development and lives in Oakland with his wife, Amy, and son, Sam.
